A UNESCO World Heritage Site, New Lanark is an outstanding example of Scottish industrialism. You will have access to many sites, including the cotton factory, the millworkers housing, Robert Owen’s school and even the local sweetie shop!

Summerlee museum is built upon the site of the old Summerlee Ironworks, once a thriving hub of Scottish industry. Immerse yourself in miner culture by taking the mine tour (not for those scared of the dark!), visit the cottages of the miners and watch live displays of working machinery.
